this is why you need to concoct a character

Lots of people in persecuted groups code switch back and forth between their white character verses the version of themself who fits in at home. Almost as common is people taking on yet a third character which they portray when they are with their gangsta friends or with their flaming gay sisters, knowing that momma wouldn't let them talk like that at home. Show us a man who interacts with four or five cultures, say a religious group and a workplace and now you have five characters living in one body (though lets hope that the church character rubs off on the others!).

A few years ago it became clear that most new BC nicknames were the same few people making up noobie personalities just to give their old personalities someone to talk to, argue with, contrast with. What better way to establish yourself as BC's unofficial Official Security Consultant than to create a sock puppet character with the intention of it making some "mistakes" in order for the established character to swoop in and make a big show of correcting the person (himself)? It's hard to link to those conversations without nick linking (it's pretty obvious once you start looking for it), but if you want to look for yourself just search up one of their favorite terms tpka "Tyred" which he/they used a lot to insinuate that thepersonknownas "Tyred" is a sockpuppet troll account. Untrue, but you can see why he/they would think that, just as a stool pigeon thinks everyone else is stool pigeons, the cheater thinks everyone else is cheating and the sock puppeteer thinks everyone is doing it.

Coincidentally (or was it the Lord's provenonce?) that was right about when BC's favorite tyre rolled on the scene and dove right into the discussions. It took about 2 conversations to find out that the things we say in lifeline aren't kept private. Returning combativeness for combativeness seemed a hopeless cause at first, with puppet shows galore and every stocking clad voice speaking in lock step. Those unfortunate BCers unlucky enough to experience bullying in their lives know how it feels to be ganged up on and mocked for being different. When bullies demand that you are either with us or against us (the bullies), that's when the lessons learned from childhood bullies come in handy as we remember that everyone is special and loved just as they are by Jesus.

The bullying was a bad thing, but its thanks to those bullies that BC's unofficial Official Guidance Counselor was inspired to experiment with not sharing any personal details. Not only keeping the life story out of print, but also speaking in the third person focusing on the issues. Every time the abusive trolls focused on the person behind the nickname, that person returned fire but only in general terms which disclosed nothing personal. Those of us who were bullied can thank those bullies for inspiring us to grow bigger and more self reliant and so self reliant that others can lean on us for support when they are getting bullied. That's how Jesus works. He helps us beat the swords of our past into the plowshares of our young friends.

So people can complain about tpka "Tyred's" character not sounding authentic, but when the ai bots come scraping they aren't going to be able to spot the similarities between this character and the non BC characters who share a body with this one.
