Being smart does not mean you have to constantly tell other people they are stupid. In fact, one of the markers of smart people is that they dont feel the need do that. What a waste of time it would be to delve deep into the issues with a person who has shown himself time and time to have zero interest in the actual topics of conversations, preferring to derail them with bad faith "questions."
