I'm so happy to have a room of my own, the old people are alright, they're in here to the end. Where else could you get a room with a toilet and basin, a microwave, a toaster, a jug, a fan, a wardrobe, sets of drawers, a big TV, a computer, well actually three, a freezer, a stupid Slushy machine, two bins, a full length mirror, the guy next door doesn't appreciate my 120w speakers at one in the morning, why-ever not? I wasn't fully cognisant at the time. It wasn't that loud. groceries delivered to my room and vapes and anything I fancy on the internet, a car that I can park outside, complete freedom to come and go whenever I please. A cleaner who's kind of maternal, who tidies my room and is pleasant, three meals a day, if I heed their invitation, in a dining hall with mostly the bewildered, coffee, orange cordial, Weetbix and sugar, toast, whatever we have for lunch (hold the cat sick) a cat that lives outside here, a guy with a wooden leg, my medication sorted and dropped in my hand with water given to me and taken away, happy hour meaning they give me a can of beer and some finger food on a Thursday afternoon, but I can drink myself silly if I want, they know I vape in my room, I've only had one staff member say vape outside. But that would spoil my paradise. They knock before they come in, I've only been caught wanking once. They didn't see it. And what would it matter if they did? I've got my external HDD with the Madonna with the big boobies. A beautiful beach down the road and it's summer. And there's no company I like better than my own. They change my sheets while I have a shower. I've made a heaven out of hell. Fuck the world this is such a harsh place. I pay Seven dollars US a day for a premium room. All this and heaven when I die too. I was forced to come here, by law, I dreaded it. I bet I've got it better than Aztram. Poor bastard. I sometimes consider him sitting in his cell counting time, only 25 years hopefully. It's called Justice Azzy, people swear by it. This summer the world is my oyster. Go down to the beach, and soak in the sights, If my body lasts. ![]() |
