Why it Sucks to be a Roman Brothel Boy

____________

First off, the Romans were just people, they were no more likely to be sadists then anyone else.

I very much doubt many Brothel patroness wanted to make their boy scream. and cry and fuss or wanted to see them bleed. That is simply awfuliziing a bad situation for shock value, nothing more.

For most Romans, they were there to drink and have fun... and seeing a distressed boy bleeding out his bum hole is not fun. It ruins the mood.

And it's a very bad business move by the Brothel owner. If your Brothel Boy is out of commission because someone fucked him up, you are losing money. Slaves are not cheap. Young boys commanded a higher price in Rome then even adult slaves, roughly $6,000 to $7,500 in today's dollars. In any event, you don't want your property damaged.

A young boy (at 5) sold to a Brothel would have been trained and his butt hole "gapped" long before he met his first "client". He would have been trained in the art of pleasuring a man especially in a Brothel that catered to a high class like Senator or magistrate. There wouldn't have been any blood at all.

I am sure there were specialty orders but that would not have been the norm.

I am not saying being a "Brothel Boy" was a nice life.

So yeah, I don't buy this guys story at all. It doesn't make sense.
