For an angel you sure do have a Log Cabin Republican aire about you. Or is it a Phylis Schaffly thing? Kids have ALWAYS been "capable" of (and carrying out) horrors, so nothing new is going on here. Just educating oneself a teeny bit about the u.s.a.'s history towards the original inhabitants can teach there. (I.e. how ENTIRE TOWNS were HYPED UP TO HATE and kill off runaway slaves AND "Injuns".) (I'm sure a bit like the video of jewish kids spitting on and attacking an Asian jew, in israel; have you seen it? I think it was in a part of a documentary I saw) But in this day we have all sorts of covert experiments done on kids with neuroleptics (i.e. Big Pharma drugs), etc. that drive them more insane. Because empathy is not "scientific", for one. And for two, have you read RFK,Jr's reporting on how kids dealing with STATE 'CARE' have so often been dealt??? You could have been one of these kids; if The State/cps had learned of and then Decided, they could EASILY have taken you away from your Mother! And then had you being a part of the at least HUNDREDS of kids experimented on, many dying, many deeply wounded.. Only to then Let You Go at age 18, very much pushed and KEPT off-balance. When kids (or anyone else, i.e. the "disabled") are not legally allowed to be fully human (except when they commit crime), they are ideologically dealt with, and that translates to interacting with them UNFAIRLY and UNJUSTLY. Systematically so. There is truth in the "Time" Magazine article i posted above: Kids are the last 'niggers' of Society. Wow, what "a can of worms" this whole topic is! Gets the ol' blood flowin'! You do have a way of TRIGGERING me, that's for sure. Guess its having to do with my public school upbringing and the fact that my best friends were Black folks back then. (While some kicked my ass, others were better friends than i've ever had) So, no, i think kids today are merely reflecting the heavy duty insanity of the cult-ure of the Status-Quo (which you seem so incapable of questioning, even in your more gun-toter persona); that same Status-Quo that systematically coerces all (when we are young) into these depressing reductions that work to surround our shared humanity (so conveniently built up by Severe Alienation, Inc.) and then crush it. Finally, How revealing of you, o 'avenging angel', to so easily (???) move into PREJUDICE towards the young and UNPREPARED! (Even IF you've personally had to deal with young people once labeled "Superpredators", WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO UNIVERSALIZE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE WITH ALL YOUNG PEOPLE WHO FOR VARIOUS REASONS CHALLENGE THE fLAW AND STATUS-QUO??? Had we still had our ancient meaningful village knowledge intact within our psyches and public memory (and not under concerted neocolonial attack), we COULD DEAL SANELY with all of these difficulties, and NOT "HAVE TO" PERPETUATE THE INSANITY. Here i direct your attention to the RECONCILIATORY approach of many SURVIVING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES. But you and your ilk seem to have no knowledge of such ..by Design, and not likely yours; mere implementer status of any prosecutor equates strategic lack of key knowledge). And that whole so-called "rational" approach of your persecutor/prosecutor alleged profession, wow. You sure you're not more of satan's avenging angel???
