Free Download Manager (FDM) is a download accelerator compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
It integrates with popular browsers like Firefox and Chrome to enhance and streamline downloading various file types, including torrents, by splitting files into segments for simultaneous downloads and allowing users to resume broken downloads.
While free and open-source between versions 2.5 and 3.9, it is now proprietary software that remains free to use.
