A 61-year-old Pakistani national was arrested in Imizu, Japan on suspicion of sexually assaulting a male relative under 10 ("9 or younger", so we do not know his precise age). The incident is alleged to have happened at a residence between March 6 and 11, 2026. The man emphatically denies the allegation. The title of beracine's post is therefore misleading and defamatory, since arrest is not conviction, and the accusation has yet to be tested in a court of law. Furthermore, many of us at BC deny that all adult-child sexual contact should be automatically treated as "rape"; so even if the man's actions met the legal definition of rape in Japan, it would not follow that they should be considered as such in fact. I can find no evidence that he was in Japan without a visa or valid legal residency status, so presumably beracine is citing this story simply to prove that all Pakistanis are evil. ![]() |
