If you're really Catholic, the traditional Catholic position is that the Jews rejected Jesus and the covenant is with those who accepted Jesus. The Crusades were not fond of Jews on the Holy Land. If anything, according to Christianity, Muslims are just misled about Jesus, because they accept him as a prophet but not the son of God. Jews outright reject and rejected Jesus entirely. But you're not Catholic, you're an American.
