I just re-read Robin Maugham's 'The Wrong People'. It really is rather good!

It was first published in 1967 (under a pseudonym), but it does somehow perfectly capture many aspects of the paederastic world as it was in those far off years.

I read it 35 years ago, and it is very interesting to have the perspective, now, of someone who is older than all its protagonists (and its author)!

Thoroughly recommended.
