Slow down and put on your thinking cap before you take another crack at the above conversation. Try using the tools you were provided with... If some sperm do fertilize eggs and some sperm don't, then what makes the ones that do, do, and the ones that dont, dont? Really answer the question for yourself. Slowing down and answering that question will help you see where your logic fails you: There is no difference between the sperm that do fertilize an egg, and the ones that dont. Therefore, you cannot say that sperm result in egg fertilization. You are making a connection that simply isnt there. If sperm fertilized eggs, then all sperm would fertilize eggs. But they dont. Wrong wrong wrong wrong, but anyway here's a good booooy as a reward for sticking to the subject line scheme. |
