When this happens the easiest thing to do is just go ahead and repeat yourself in the thread where you intended to post it and then reply to your mistake comment with the subject line, "cogs delete this," and in the body ask them to delete, rather than move it. That way if the cog doesn't get around to it, your contribution to the conversation is in the right place, but if the cog does see it they can delete it, which sources say is easier for them than moving it. Also, since the cogs, like all of us, tend to focus on their own interests and not read the entyre board every day, sending a PRF makes it more likely that one will notice your request.
