To strengthen young people (and women) so that they can adequately and independently "rise to the occasion", whether that be intimidation or other threats. i also don't agree with restrictively blocking a youth from having sadness or "diminishing his self-esteem (due to authoritative reproach, etc.). Again, that sounds like a patriarch "wanting to help" women, whom are framed as not being "capable" in such areas. (Which of course is a bunch of bull!) To restrict youths (we're not talking about younger persons, tho i think they need this too) from "dealing with" difficulties is to only make them WEAKER IN THE LONG RUN, after all! (Tho i agree with you about institutional warfare; and yes, i do think it is a form of warfare to actively suppress young peoples' naturally diverse learning styles, for instance, replacing such with "efficient" standardization.) Erotic adornment? Ha! Well, that sounds good on its face, i suppose. i just wonder what happened to the liberatory aspects?
