RE: the Milo/Gold interview which just dropped. Milo, being GREEK and DISPOSED TO FORMALITY, needs a performative ritual by means of which he can affirm, express, and transcend his pedo nature. But he hasn't got one. So he's flailing. So he comes off as TRAPPED, like the ermine in Olivier's notion for how to perform OIDIPOUS TYRANNOS. He MUST be seen in public; he MUST talk about PEDO; but he CAN'T talk about pedo. Because if he does, he won't be seen in public any more, and HE CAN'T HAVE THAT. Hence the agonizingly contorted body-language, the black glasses to cover the eyes going in different directions, the sense of super-intense human misery.
