...for the simple, honest reason that cartoon drawings are not children. The drawings may be pornographic, but there are objectively and conclusively no children present. Other than copyright, drawings have no legal status...and they have no personal rights to violate, on their own. You cannot offend against a fictional cartoon...something that cannot even experience pain, shame or injury. That said...none of this stops various jurisdictions from prosecuting thought and speech "crimes". To which I say...have a solid understanding on what your national, state, county and city laws are, prior to enjoying "Garfield fucking Odie as kitten and puppy", so to speak. It's entirely possible that you can do this legally, without concern...but take nothing for granted. I've known a person or two who went to prison for actual child pornography...but they never got any charges over the cartoons with characters resembling children. A lot depends on where you live, and the level of cruelty there. Yes...that's rhetorical "proof"...but the legal protection of this sort of content objectively does exist. Just be safe and wise, before you jump in with both feet. All prosecution in this world happens on the basis...of whether or not they believe they can successfully convict you...The details and objective truth of the situation be damned. It might not be a bad idea to ask the legal status of this content, from the office of your states attorney general...just to get clarification...or from a county/city legal office. It only helps to be informed. ![]() Stevie-D OurLoveFrontier.com |
