There are between 7 and 8 million Arabs in Israel and the occupied territories, and about the same number of Jews. In a democratic state, Jewish and Arab political representation would be about equal, Arabs from the West Bank and Gaza would be able to move freely throughout the whole of Palestine, and the law would protect all the inhabitants equally, regardless of religion or ethnicity, so that Israeli settlers would not be able to threaten and kill Arabs with impunity, bulldoze their homes, and seize their land. But Israel was ethnonationalist in its conception, it has expelled Arabs from their homes right from the very beginning, and it continues to do so. Please have the guts to watch this 2 minute video from the BBC, posted just yesterday. (I'm afraid it includes the torture of animals by the settlers in addition to the killing of 17 year old Kareem). Or are you too cowardly to face up to the truth? What will you say? That the BBC is lying? that it is all 'Hamas propaganda'? For Christ's sake, where is your decency? The law does not protect Palestinians; the Zionist entity does not care about the human rights of Palestinians. It wants their land, and it wants the Palestinians expelled or exterminated -- it doesn't care which. ![]() |
