Boys as proxies for political arguments

This board really has devolved.

As far as the boy with the kite goes, I've seen little kids throw worse tantrums over having their games or phones taken away (things their minds shouldn't have been exposed to anyway). I'm sure I'll get slammed now for daring to compare that to being in a war zone. Whatever.

I'm failing to see the point of posting these Gazan boys. What about boys in Yemen or Syria? Iran? There are exceedingly poor provinces all around this nasty world, too. And what about boys being psychologically or physically tortured and/or scapegoated by their own crazy parents right here in River City? Some of them will not recover.
