Seeing as there is no danger of politically charged conversations crowding out worthwhile discussions, there is no longer any need to use OC... It's understandable that you may still be a bit butthurt over your post getting moved to OC last year, but in your case the post was the most stupid and low brow kind of political hate bait. Under the new more relaxed cogging scheme merely being non-boy isn't enough to have a post banished to OC. Posts are only moved if they invite or cause idiots to spew their stupidity all across the board in a way that disrupts normal conversation. Like your post did. Maybe if we have a stupid argument about it the thread could become distracting and get moved, but if no one gets disruptive, it will probably stay where it is,.
