The boy looks just fine to me. Skin colour is not really the primary consideration for me at least. I mean, I am trying to get a copy of Bombay Talkies (2013, Indian).. cute dark-brown boy in that one.

Often, short movies end or start on Vimeo, but I don't spot it there right now.

Iranians aren't all brown anyway.. for example:
