monero is easy to 'trace' if they seize the device

Do you really think the Norwegians have cracked monero? They'd probably like people to think that, but if you read the fine print on most articles discussing that situation they talk about how when crime suspects are caught they usually agree to tell on themselves as part of a plea bargain, and give up the password to their phone or laptop they used to make the monero transactions and there right in the history will show where the person bought $67 worth of bitcoin with cashap connected to their bank account and then used that to buy $67 worth of monero and then the last transaction says "sent $67 in monero to x address" and then checking their messages the investigator finds a receipt from the pedo ring thanking him to for the $67 donation with the same date.

In other words, if the person had bought the monero with cash and used Tails OS to send their messages and make their monero payments, their monero wouldn't have been traced at all. At least not on their end, who knows what kind of records the pedo ring site itself was keeping about the users. But no, they haven't found a way to trace monero unless they aready have the records and they get access to a device that hasn't had it's memory wiped.
