places like this seem frozen in time is that we can't talk about our real daily lives except in code or verse, so it's increasingly difficult to bring anything current/new into the regular rhythms of this board. I guess we could be doing more media criticism, but the political sphere is so out of reach, the social sphere is a witch hunt, and the personal sphere remains private not public for safety reasons. The cultural sphere it is, then.
