tho this is way too generalizing of you (all new zealanders?), from what you said it sounds like these white (?) new zealanders are merely CONTINUING their settler normative warfare, tho likely much "nicer" than in the past. After all, their "roots" are not in new zealand but europe. Is it not so?

Just like everywhere else that europeans are in the world outside of europe, eh? Over colonialism then and covert neocolonialism now (with reveals of colonialism from time to trump time).
