the problem with 'humanism'....

is that it becomes an ideology where human-centric(k) thinking is praised and rewarded, but beings OTHER than human are kept lower in the hierarchy. i think i read that in some anarchist critique somewhere. Beings like wild animals, for one. Or your "pets", for two.

Some of us KNOW that our fellow animals have immense abilities that should be respected, not dealt with in paternalistic or alienated ways!
