DNFTT? Hmmmmmmmmmm....what do you think of the phrase: "It takes one to know one?" i guess what i need from you is to make your case clearly. Can you share proofs of your assertions? And links (preferably internal)? What moves you to label him 'mad' AND an 'anti'? What if the problem is merely him being of a different culture or class? (i've certainly noted over the decades how persons viewed as "lower class" get labeled with all sorts of character assassination terms, designed to frustrate their less-than-articulate input. PPC was such an example. i went and met him in person and found, eventually, a kind and caring person who i see as a lifelong friend. Of course, a year or so after i had been in touch regularly, and my not staying in good touch with him, he began including me in his negative "hearie" list....but i touted that as a tendency made in a context of his lifelong deaf nationalism of sorts... In other words, we are dealing with a huge diversity of english speakers here! From diverse cultures, diverse classes, diverse everything!! Including the nature of what happens under intense duress (i.e. fear of being 'outed' outside of our control). In this context i hold Tyred, despite allegations of him being a total asshole. But i do thank you for speaking your mind!! (i think us mind-speakers are ourselves always in ongoing process! Just like young dudes!! And we surely don't wish to cut off any possibly positive connection we might have with, say, a typically angry (for Western cult-ure, that is; not all cultures have this problem!) adolescent JUST BECAUSE he may be ignorant in the extreme about our topic!!! Get it?
