It does feel kind of sad actually. I only have about 5-6 years with him now if I’m lucky, and knowing him and how much he doesn’t like to waste time, he’ll likely find a way to spread his wings even earlier than that. He brings so much life, joy, and noise to my daily life. I already feel the emptiness when he’s sleeping over somewhere else. Not that I dwell or anything, but it’s so strange how quiet this space is when he isn’t here. I am eager for him to become a man though. Every day, it happens quicker and quicker.
