Just like you use hyperbole, he's using it on the flip side of the coin. The coin being the harmful narrative of erotic affection being nothing but gross, harmful, evil, vile, criminal, and undesired. You - where in the world is the hyperbole in saying little boys are not ready for the social consequences of sex with grown up women? a better way, with not so much drama and innuendo that sex is disgusting, harmful, unnatural, and must come with some kind of notion that it invokes "social consequences". Here's my suggestion : This society has created within it's culture a most insidious & cynical portrait of erotic passion play, by insisting and instituting harmful ideals that makes intimacy so dire and wrong, this narrative has a terrible consequential construct on the developing male youth and assures demented penalties, and social scorn on any person that would offer and share said physical affection. His hyperbole talk (Mr. Grey) is in way only meeting on the same level as your hyperbole talk... |
