Samuel is an avowed atheist. Religion isn't driving shit. Evil people are using religion as a tool to justify murdering children. On both sides. Even you agree that he's mostly (if "not entirely") wrong, but rather than respect the dignity and human rights of the children in the story by recognizing their horrible predicament as no fault of their own, you gloss over the story, pivoting to whining about people being "harmed" for "being different" which means diddly squat compared to the real harms suffered by the children we are talking about. BTW how is speaking up for the dignity and human rights of children harming people for being different. We're all different. Every one of us is a special unique creation with different talents, passions and education. Samuel isn't being singled out for being different.
