Even you agree that he's mostly (if "not entirely") wrong, but rather than respect the dignity and human rights of the children in the story by recognizing their horrible predicament as no fault of their own, you gloss over the story, pivoting to whining about people being "harmed" for "being different" which means diddly squat compared to the real harms suffered by the children we are talking about.
