Not everyone is meant to be monogamous and love forever. Most people, in particular heterosexuals, fail to that standard. Are we to pretend that they don't know what love is?

Better to admit one's own limits than being in denial about it, I believe. At least Roamajous tries his best to be honest about his feelings, and that's already a lot. Many BLs have been in trouble because they couldn't do the same, and their delusions became their pitfall.
