Why talk about any of the children being deliberately targeted by Israel when we can talk about the kids who are not?

Because it's the elephant in the room. Imagine there were a serial pedophile-killer on the loose and you just wanted divert our attention to the pedos dying of diabetes instead. Total red herring. If you want to post something about a boy refugee in some other country, no one would accuse you of engaging in exceptionalism. Or is there any other country besides Israel which you believe merits that defense?
