..is not just because it's Israel, but because Israel is (obviously) very closely tied to a first-world country that could easily stop the violence in it's tracks, but chooses not to for idiot or corrupt reasons.. hence a growing trend around the world of moving away from relying on a country that is now governed poorly by crazy people and billionaire technocrats.

The other lesser-known conflicts should be getting policed by countries that are near them (geographically, culturally, economically). The fact that they wont or can't will become a lesson for them to pick up and get their shit together, just as soon as the conflicts they ignore start to spill over the borders and hurt them too.
