You are speaking like a typical liberal feminist who thinks that just because she and her coffee clutch see something as weird that it's a huge faux pas for the whole world. For better or worse, a quick survey of youtube will show that children are right up there with pets as the most common stars of the shows. Also, how out of touch with children do you have to be to believe that parents don't let their kids go to sleepovers anymore? Maybe put the social media down before it completely fries your conception of the world, because children have sleep overs all the time.
