And of course Jesus made much the same point you did when He noted that looking at a woman with lust was essentially the same as committing adultery.

Time to listen to Tristan und Isolde in which Wagner spun out four and a half hours of unfulfilled desire ... and in the process blew the lid on the whole apparatus of sexual repression that had been carefully constructed over the previous 1600 years. (I recommend the recording featuring Carlos Kleiber conducting.)

Or to go stare at Amor Vincet Omnia for thirty minutes.
