Certainly not attuned to life beyond the urban, eh? C) ...Were closely watched by the whole community! Well, for folks from The Third World, it's a very possible Ticket out of that world and into the heavily propagandized idea of "America", MOST EXOTIC compared to Aussies, for example! For them!! And if they don't please you well enough, they may Get Down on themselves for such a fail. Unless your communication is meaningful enough, that is! i'm figuring for most of you it probably is. It's just the 'tourons' i'm speaking about trying to reach. If not to "America" that your Asian YFs may actually go to, then possibly a very nice, privileged education, and hotel stays with lots of food along the way, and all those other Frames of References that the VoA makes sure to constantly repeat worldwide as much as it can. The "rich" Westerner coming to exploit his privileges with Those People. i'm sure that the elders of the village know this. And likely so do the YFs. Please say why you agree or do not. Without privileges as we (?) Westerners (As in Western europa and n.america) have gotten used to, we too would WELCOME its possibility into our lives, were we in THEIR SHOES. Yeah, so i visited there many years back and only for a few months (3 used to be the limit b4 you had to travel elsewhere to get your 'visa' or whatever it was, renewed; is it still also today, i haven't checked?). (i don't even HAVE a passport anymore) So yeah, that nation is very exotic for the average n.american. With their giant scary lizards! (Komodo Dragon, i don't think so, but still!)
