it's a reduction and a hollowing out!

Sex sells. Sex has also been seeded in people's minds for a few hundred years (or more?) as being Bad, generally. Especially the outrageous sex groanups tend to like (according to www.eidos.org anyway). So it has become a mobilizing word. For opportunistic propagandists everywhere.

Sexual adultism means to me an adult/groanup-centrick value system
including where the tendency is to avoid or ignore kids' individual awesomeness, and replace them as fetishized body objects for 'efficeincy's' (and Alienation Inc.'s) sake. The popularized narrative for sexuality, of course, 'wins out' over the more creative, intuitive approaches due to coercive connections to vast audiences, and such things as "serving the Interests of the State" (usually meaning horridly Alienated).

You see, it's the more narrow, superficial, and bondless sexuality, statecraft seems to think, that keeps the masses from gaining crucial powerspots that could build up suddenly into a mass movement.

If you've read much of what i've said over the years, you know that i've extensively quoted leading whistleblowers and analysts on how elites seek to control things from "the backroom"; including to quash mass movements BEFORE they can grow big enough to POSSIBLY become a threat.

(Now, i can see why elites would use Dirty Trick tactics like 'cointelpro' for 'dirty' reactionaries (mobilized to Attack, not Dialogue!): after all, many Leftists do seem to promote 19th century programs, including, we could assume, based on the French revolution, the practice of lining up whole families of elites and executing them, as with the russian czar and his family.)

(Having said that, i'm NOT promoting a Left-stuck approach! i'm promoting a decolonizing approach to get to "the bottom of" the difficulty and try to make sure it stops perpetuating alienation!!!! We COULD be using our world hegemony to truly found meaningful sanity!!

But instead, it looks to me like the u.s. population is on the road to being The Scapegoat of the World, in the One World Government scenario that seems to continue to be pushed No Matter What. While the world elites get away "scot-free" (as usual?) in their globe-trotting privileges..

My bottom line feels strongly that we are ALL abused in this war-stuck suicidal Society! AND we are ALL survivors! Except that some survivors are MORE EQUAL than others. Orwellian style, i think.

(granted, my analysis stems from 30-some years back and may not fit today's vanguardist norms...then again, "history repeats" seems to be the recurring mantra of our times.)

Had we had the free ability to explore and discover who we really are and not been traumatized into Settler Normative Society, we most likely would have continued to pursue where our heart-of-hearts tended (for me, that would be a solidarity-facilitator of a huge pack of dudes!).

Only to have our "attentions hooked" (see don Miguel Ruiz) into this One Way of Doing Things (in a dumbed-down sexual narrative) that brings light upon the classic liberation feminists challenge to the rigidly patriarchal.

"Sex is good"; but that COULD BE *BEAUTIFUL*. So WHY DON'T WE PROMOTE THAT?? (Well, many of us have now internalized such narratives into our heads that we believe it Just Isn't 'Realistic'!)

So i join, yes, with feminists in challenging the patriarchal symptoms of our neocolonial reality. (Notably, i don't join with just any old feminist, i join with LIBERATION feminists; where ALL parties GET TO PLAY, not some new hierarchy!!

And Something MORE THAN mere monetary transactions (as so many city settlers are so stuck in) seems crucial to discuss. Pragmatically, i see how people do that. But we are more than merely a pragmatic movement!

If we r going to inspired a critical mass, i think we're going to have to start finally escaping (at least for half the time?) what passes for pragmatism and 'The Realistic'! That seems to "fit" for you all whom are adolescent lovers (i share in), no longer concerned with keeping the young kids' attention (as per your meta-settler social roles); but not for those of us who CARE ABOUT younger dudes, too!!

The grand spirit of dudes, OH YEAH!!!!

THE IMAGINATION OF EVERYTHING BLASTING INTO CLEAR PROPORTIONS ALL AT ONCE! (or something like that...)

You say:
In my opinion, chronic denial of freedom of expression and chronic violation of privacy is more damaging to a kid than being mildly sexually assaulted once or twice. Perhaps you could also say this about sexual repression. It's also chronic.

----
assaulted, really?? Wellllll, a fine line....

Me, i think of myself as ABUSED BY SOCIETY itself. As i don't think it's arbitrary that we got targeted. Or at least, it may've started out arbitrary (just another group politically weak-enough to trounce semi-easily), only to become quite conspiratory later (one of the best propaganda techniques to come along in awhile for mobilizing masses against The Third World, eh?).

But, yes, the 'chronic' abuse is also a biggie. And i can see how statecraft becomes a form of rape. But worse than sex assault? Surely true for the kind of 'sex' assault i experienced via a former 'colleague', but i don't think you can reduce all such into that!!

At least if you want to preserve your integrity (and sanity!). i think.
