but the way i see it, we were the crucial glues not merely in the context of the current paradigm of nuked(nuclear) families, but most crucially, in the context of the ancient EXTENDED family. We were the "walks between", between the parents and the kids. We facilitated meaningful dialogue, i think, in this role; amongst other values! That we no longer seem to remember this ancient value tells me that The System (i.e. Deep State) works to deny, as much as possible, our collective (all humanity's) power spots so to render us as easy as possible to exploit in the capitalist system. Now, i am not saying that we are "better" than the straights; i'm saying that our natural tendency is to work as a COMPLEMENT to families. Naturally, we seek to do this, even when the nuked families have been fooled into becoming hostile. The usual pattern: Hyping up the masses against their own ultimate interests. |
