Ping! Eric Tazelaar (sp?): your interview with A

Posted by Chuck on 2026-April-16 01:11:00, Thursday

Amos Yee that is.

So i just wanted to hear you out better and wonder if you could respond to my comments below:

You said, on the NAMBLA site (linked below) :

There was a teacher named “John Holt” who wrote in the 1960s and 70s about the need to liberate kids from the prisons that public schools had become and which he felt were terrible places for kids to learn and develop to become strong and resilient adults. He felt that schools actively harmed children.

AY: I’m of that opinion, too.

ET: He was largely responsible for initiating the movement for children’s liberation

Oh, i disagree with that! But, from your perspective, what do you mean, exactly?

i think of the 10-year-long-running Cooperative Highschool Independent Press Syndicate out of Chicago teeming up with "Ann Arbor Youth Liberation" to put out a national zine "FPS". They seem to come out of a communist movement still semi-viable in 1970. But i'm not exactly sure and think that due to the ideology seemingly most promoted (definitely not anarchist, at least openly).

You said:
"...which, later, got hijacked by gender-feminists, the ones who really do hate men and who see it as their duty to eradicate all traces of “the male” from society and replace it with a purely female-derived model for governance and for life. So, they co-opted the children’s rights movement and made it synonymous with women authorized by government to exercise children’s rights on their behalf."

Well, i disagree that the 'gender (?) -feminists' really hate men; what they hated, apparently even including Andrea Dworkin, was THE PATRIARCHY INTERNALIZED IN MEN. That is, a male-centric culture of the Nuclearized Family sort.

There HAS been an articulted desire of women to have WOMEN ONLY SPACE, such as at the Michigan Womens' Festival and etc. I even heard of boy children sent to gay mens' community by women who didn't want even boys around!

But isn't that all in the context of the authoritarian men in their lives?

So if you didn't know it by now, i seek to get to THE HEART of these difficulties. Yes, with all the heavyduty propaganda nowadays, women have come to think in rigid binaries. But back in the '70s, i think they got bribed.

Bribed? Well, when Mondale (with the Trilateral Commission) suddenly opened up Big Funding "against child abuse" they funded only those groups that did not present a serious threat (or one that they couldn't easily deal with). So who got funded?

NOT those who wanted to end spanking of kids in schools. NOT those who wanted to see physical violence against kids by parents. NOT those who saw thru the System's hypocrisy and wished to end INSTIUTIONAL ABUSE AGAINST KIDS.

Anyone wish to discuss this further?

Like i said, i have my "educated theories" and yet, still wish to have input!
