As C. J. Bradbury Robinson wrote Its not clear (to me, at least) what he is saying. Is he saying that without an intolerant society, there would be no child molesters, sexual psychopaths, rapists, murderers. That seems so obviously wrong that he cant be saying that, but thats what it looks like. I mean, its true that if sex with children is tolerated by society, then there would likely be no category of child molesters, but that would be like saying that if theft was tolerated then there would be no category of shop lifters. I dont think that is what he is arguing though. |
