Finally, some comedy in this thread! The most dreary lugubrious bore and boor weighs in to defend lightness and laughter!

The smug, smarmy, preachy sketch you lovingly protect doesn't come close to the realm of comedy. But birds of a feather will flock together.

Even if the sketch were comedy, the mind is a remarkable thing. The mind can enjoy a comedy sketch for what it is, and the mind can launch some associated cultural analysis. Are you a child?

If you can't appreciate the quality of LA's concluding sentence – whether you agree or not – then I think it may be time to turn out the light, Nightie.
