The issue of adapting books into plays or movies

I'm curious, are you disappointed and regretful when some dramas or movies can't faithfully recreate certain scenes from the original work?
Sometimes it's quite disheartening when certain scenes featuring boys can't be reproduced.
like a knight of the seven kingdoms.
