Serve somebody...

Maybe I just desire sex, that kind of love, isn't the other kind of love
just the sex of the non contact kind? Intellectual love, emotional love,
what am I talking about? I wouldn't have a clue, it's probably something
about the illusion of the higher self and the lower self. The soul and
the body, as if the soul didn't need gratification just as much as the
body. If there even is a soul and a body split.

A "higher" self and a "lower" self. You couldn't have high if you didn't
have low, or as Alan Watts bangs on about you couldn't have a wave if
you didn't have a trough, would you judge a piece of corrugated iron
by it's peaks and troughs? If you look at it from the other side the
troughs would now be the peaks and vice versa.

"I've looked at love from both sides now from up and down but still somehow
it's loves illusions I recall, I really don't know love at all."

"You may call me Bobby or you may call me Ray, you may call me anything
but no matter what you say, you're still gonna have to serve somebody
yes indeed you're gonna have to serve somebody, well it may be the Devil
or it may be the Lord, but you're gonna have to serve somebody."
