There are many many children who's greatest dream in life is to walk in the footsteps of their fathers and grandfathers carrying on the traditions of their ancestors. Those children roll their eyes at the protesters interrupting their traditional events. They see you through their parent's eyes - as an invitation to stray from the known best healthy path and into choppy waters. Kids don't want to run with you doomed to failure.

History has shown most boat rockers to be dangerous bad fellow travelers. Most prefer cooperative volunteers who pitch in to stabilize boats.
