Obviously, there are no perfect videos to explain something so complex.

I too find a lot of the delivery of some a bit out there, but I DO believe in the concepts.

I think a lot of it comes from the dumbing down effect. There are a lot of these people who cannot grasp difficult or different concepts (much like we know that BL is a sexuality to be celebrated, yet most believe it is an illness). So I see these kind of videos like a medical doctor making a video for toddlers and using terms like PeePee and WooWoo. (reference the film "High Anxiety").

So for me these videos (last minute search BTW), are not my guiding light. My own thoughts and feelings are guiding me.

Another analogy is that there are many people who believe in Christianity, yet there are videos of people dancing with snakes and mumbling gibberish. Should all Christians be categorized with those nutjobs, or are there common sense ones too?

The fact is that spiritualism is more rooted in science than Christianity is. It is proven that everything in life is energy and the state of fluidity is simply the speed at which molecules are moving. Therefore, energy can and does interact. On the contrary the "snake dancing frenzy" effect can be explained by studies that have shown that participation in religious activities can alter the binding of dopamine and serotonin transporters in the brain. Basically, they collectively work themselves up into a feverish state where adrenaline is released in the brain followed by dopamine and serotonin mimicking a post coital bliss.

I hope that helps.
