Re: Epstein fever and the need for a cultural reset

This is a great short essay. I was going to quote some sentences I particularly agree with, except that I'd end up quoting all of it. The cognitive dissonance is astonishing, isn't it? An entire society screaming 'Won't someone please think of the children?!!!' over Epstein (not that any actual 'children' were ever involved, so far as I can tell), whilst being entirely relaxed about their own mass slaughtering of primary school children in Iran, not to mention Israel's mass slaughter of kids in Gaza and now Lebanon. Starmer seems determined not to drag Britain too deeply into the Iran war - Iraq casts a long shadow - but it is a difficult tightrope to walk whilst simultaneously cringing and fawning before the fascist lunatic in the White House, and Starmer is allowing us to be far too deeply involved in America's and Israel's genocidal war anyway, just as we are deeply implicated in the Gaza genocide. Farage (and Badenoch, if anyone still cares) think we should be full and enthusiastic participants in Trump's war, thus demonstrating without a shadow of a doubt that they only pretend to believe in patriotism and sovereignty when what they in fact believe is that Britain should be a vassal to a foreign power. Britain is America's bitch, just as America is Israel's bitch. Anyway, fantastic work.
