There are two possible explanations, which are not exclusive. The first one is that pedophile are not crazy about women. It is just the sex-drive not being that strong. And that is part of human evolution - we are getting less and less jumping to conclusions and acting on instinct. The second one is that pedophile never learned to distinguish sexual attraction from plain attraction - like never learned the difference. That is like those color blindness some people have. And for us it is not color, it is certain emotions. For me it is both. Both more or less caused or increased by a horrible childhood. And there is obvious a nature part - being high on the Asperger's is part of it. And yes, blond blue eyed smart boys are sexy. No question.
