According to this site, Gorton and Denton's population is 51% English, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish, or British; 19% Pakistani; and about 30% other ethnic groups. So unless the Pakistanis and other groups just didn't vote, which is unlikely, it isn't true that near 100% of the voters were British English. |
