Yes, it is. It's not like that's going to happen with a helicopter parent in tow. But congratulations on taking a neutral term and turning it into a dog whistle, like the way people use "pedophiles" to mean "rapists."

"That means you're in favour of feeding asbestos to small children, you monster!!!"

Except that I have never used that kind of reasoning, but I can understand why you might hear it that way considering how much you deny the trade-offs required to enforce your own ideal world.
