it's just that the new library hot-spots I use, disallow "explicit content" websites. Not that BC is much of an "explicit content website."

But I can only post on LIBRARY DAYS, when I'm working at a college library without the internet limitations.

Main project these days is a PAN-CELTIC edition of the Iliad, with WELSH, IRISH GAELIC & SCOTTISH GAELIC texts on the same page.

I'm trying to work up the steam to attend the B4U-ACT conference in June.
Is there any point in trying to talk to people at all, at all?

I attended the Genspect conference, which was OK as far as it went.
But there's no gas in the tank, there. ;( Just endless repetitive hand-wringing. No one there has a good word to say for the mother-goddess, but no one has any concrete plans for leaving. And that's . . . what I call a hang-up situation

The WPATH people are stuck on mother-goddess island, and love it; the GENSPECT people are stuck on mother-goddess island, and hate it.

I looked all over for anyone with enough masculinity to JAIL-BREAK a mother-bound boy out of trans or same-sex hang-ups; it wasn't to be found, not at all. ;( So: in my estimation . . . GENSPECT IS A DUD ORGANIZATION.

NO SIGN of anyone interested in SWIMMING TO ZEUS/GANYMEDE island.

Well, suppose I DO go to B4U-ACT. Would things be any better there? I don't think so.

There, I'm 100% sure, it'll just be people who are MAROONED on Zeus/Ganymede island. Some will love it, some will hate it. But there will be NO TALK of swimming to the next island.

#OPUSGENERIS -- do you all not know my refrain? -- is all about modeling how to SWIM FROM ONE ISLAND TO THE NEXT.

But NO ONE GETS THIS, and I think it's time for me to move on.

The Pan-Celtic Iliad connects me to more LIVE WIRES.

First off, I AM Welsh/Scottish/Irish; second, those are cultures which still value the oral tradition, songs & stories. Third, there's government support for the use of the traditional languages, which I can try to tap into. Unlike the thing called "American Classics," which wants nothing to do with conservative hwite men telling traditional stories. ;(

The SABHAL MOR OSTAIG, for instance, keeps the Scots Gaelic going; the National Center for Gaelic Translation at U of Aberdeen is named after Gaelic Scholar & Translator & Poet Ewen MacLachlann, and it's Ewen MacLachlann's translation of the Iliad into Gaelic that I'm typing up now. SUCH a joy to get one's mouth around the rich texture, preserving many Old Irish sounds!

The Welsh of Richard Morris Lewis, and the Irish of Archbishop MacHale are also a great pleasure to work with. And of course, it's great fun to compare, when they're all on the same page.

People kept asking me to show concrete evidence of #PedoSchwing2025. Like there was going to be a baby-blue banner prominently displayed at Trump's White House, or something. Well, stuff it POPPING UP, absolutely, yes. But it's getting TROMPED DOWN, as quickly as it pops up. That's exactly what happened with BEYOND THE PLUS. And it will continue to happen; people will get braver and braver and better and better organized.
