and would like to understand. What i've noted over the years, and i don't have any idea if this relates to you, but, people are venting their stuff out in myriad ways. And, they may want to see if you can "hold up" to that venting. To kind of "feel out" who you REALLY are. Like the proverbial cannon ball over the bow of one's boat. Then there is the side of many people who are rigidly AFRAID of daring folks. And then there are the political police amongst them who work to try to build and insert "wedges" against all involved, fomenting splits and factions. Myself, i got out of these organizations mostly because they REFUSED to even have a conversation about basics in these sorts of things. And then i started to recognize just how badly MOST so-called "well educated" persons have kept and nurtured BLIND SPOTS when it comes to their rigidized assumptions on class and seemingly non-rational (only different) approaches to life. Now, your sig pic presents as non-White. So that's another difficulty for some. You may not share their norm of "shared values"; or...? So, not knowing you (?), not knowing your trajectory, that is my thinking for now. (Yes, i've been in similar 'hot water' with those whom take up crucial positions in this movement! And i tried to use reason from my vantage point, etc. etc. But they didn't want to hear it! Or just couldn't (and wouldn't take the time to REALLY try). And likely still don't! So what do i do? i try to reach people who seem to be able to understand nuances, like you.) Also what has worked for me is reading the Five Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (and son)!
