Yes, an important point. The cause of the hysteria is still out of bounds. The falsity of the Epstein beliefs can now be pointed out, but there's no hint of any desire to address the underlying cause of such violent hallucinations. At some point, these sane moderates are going to have to raise the issue of adolescence and the fact it is supposed to be sexually attractive. If simply stating that biological banality causes large sections of modern society to go into a psychotic meltdown, we have a problem. Publications like Quillette and Spiked Online could take this on, and have come tantalisingly close on occasions. But someone really needs to bite the bullet before we burn the whole damn show to the ground. I mean, after Epstein, where does the hysteria go next? Outer space? The only person I've seen publicly raise the issue is Nick Fuentes. Surely we can do better than that. |
