Very interesting. Bravo Tracey and bravo Compact! On the other hand: left wing activist and famed BL advocate Tom Reeves met with Chomsky a few years before Reeve's death died and brought up the issue of the injustices of the sex abuse hysteria. Though I am not privy to the details, I do know that, though otherwise closely politically aligned, Chomsky pretty much bought the party line that any sort of minor-adult sexual activity was simply horrifically damaging, and saw no reason to doubt it, nor to be pushed to reconsider the horrors of the hysteria. When someone like Chomsky is that stuck, the problem is about at serious as it can get. |
