Another anti-pedophile gets the ire of kids.

Brazil is going to roll out age verification online on March and, in anticipation of this, Roblox disabled its chat in Brazil. Kids needed a scapegoat and the chosen one was Felca. He is a comedy youtuber who exposed Hytalo Santos, who is not exactly a pedophile, but someone who emancipated children from their parents, so they could make risque videos for his socials, in order to gain engagement and, thus, money. What Hytalo did was really fucked up, but Felca's reaction was also unwise.

Felca is the champion of age verification in Brazil. However, he has even less to do with Roblox's chat changes than Schlep does. Yet, he is under fire. Now, you probably might be thinking that this will result in nothing, but Brazil has a differential compared to other democracies in the world: you can vote at the age of 16. Many kids can and will vote.

People are already blaming Felca for what is happening on Roblox, but I believe people will elect him as the symbol of social media bans when age verification becomes a real legal thing in March. A person who loses his socials at 15 will take this hatred to the very next election. He may even get voting documentation ready for that alone. This is going to be so darn fun.
